8th Middlesex British WWII Living History & Re-enactment group

The British 8th Battalion Middlesex Regiment were one of the five Regiments to be converted into machine gun (MG) Infantry support units at the start of WW2. The Middlesex were assigned to the 43rd Division 'The Wessex Wyverns'. The group portrays a Medium Machine gun (MMG) support section, this being two vickers machine guns , in a typical in-direct fire support Role together with all ancillary equipment.
