The Polish groups attending this year's event come from Poland and will be displaying the Duchy of Warsaw as it was during the Napoleonic wars, Napoleon's faithful allies' even when all others left the Poles stayed to the bitter end.
Hated by the Russians during the 1812 campaign the Poles fought in every campaign of the French army from Italy to Spain through the campaigns of 1813 and 1814 and even Waterloo. The Groups are the 1st Duchy of Warsaw infantry regt and 2nd Duchy of Warsaw infantry, the 2nd Vistula infantry and the Duchy of Warsaw foot artillery.
