The unit was formed in 2000 and we try to present to the public how a member of the Grossdeutschland forces would have appeared on the front line. This is NOT a parade ground unit !! As a result of this you will see a veriety of uniforms and equipment with no two members looking alike. We feel this creates a more interesting and realistic appearance of the typical front line German soldier. We attend many shows throughout the year doing both Living history displays and battle re-enactments
