Gates open at 9.30am, Arena events commencing at 10.00am

Show closes at 5.30pm on Saturday & 5.00pm Sunday and Monday

The Kent County Show Ground is one of the best in the country and can cater for 100,000 people over a weekend with full on site amenities including showers and toilets.  Ample car parking is available and is FREE!  Beer tents and food courts and display arenas will be in full flow.  There will be on site entertainment for children and adults throughout the whole show time. 

Food and drink will be on site from Thursday prior to the event, the site opens for participants that are booked in from Thursday 21st from 12pm for set up and there will be the opportunity for trade and international trading on Friday 22nd (although this depends on the individual traders if they wish to trade and is not compulsory).  The Show Site will open to the public on Saturday, Sunday & Monday 23rd, 24th & 25th August 2008.  We anticipate a large attendance of public and enthusiasts the intended show audience covers a wide spectrum, collectors, historians and like minded peoples.  The theme being Living History and will be promoted to Schools and Colleges as a chance to enlighten the students on periods in history that they are studying

as well as a great and interesting family day out.

The presence of The Army Cadets plus Territorial Units (Army), Air Training Corps and Sea Cadets at the event will help show their skills and crafts to all age groups

There will be hundreds of privately owned military vehicles, and some of the country's best re-enactment / living history groups and much more.
