Pioneer's Living History Group - 19th Century

This group are a small Living History group who likes to portray varied periods of American history ranging from the 1750's to around the 1880's.  All of its members have for several years been part of other societies who have portrayed re-enactment, or living history groups.

They depict English and European settlers whom ventured to America (the west) trying to find their fortune, adventure and a new way of life.

The displays are static but try to give you an insight on how people used to live back in the early Pioneer days and the Old West depicting different skills of every day life from cooking on open fires to a soldier's encampment.

The group try for realism and authenticity and at the same time enjoy themselves.  Their aim is to bring a little history to you.
