The REME Association

The Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) Association was formed in 1945 (the Corps itself was formed in 1942). Two of the aims of the Association are:
a. To foster the 'esprit de corps' and well being of the Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers
b. To keep those who have served in the Corps in touch with each other with a view to keeping alive a spirit of comradeship
Ashford Branch which was formed in 1948, usually meets on the third Friday of the month at the TA Centre in Ashford, to achieve these aims. Anyone who has served with the Corps in any capacity would be welcomed at any of the meetings. The Secreatary is Bill Williams who would welcome any enquiries on 01233 632284.
